This is their only major title on the market. So as a CEO the main thing is to insure you have revenue and for XL games that means Archeage. In the case of XL games as it is a private company we only need to focus on the company the employees and finally the customers all of which go hand in hand. First, as a CEO you must think about your Company and Employees, and in some cases shareholders and investors. This isn't a trivial task I know, there are lots of things one must consider. I encourage you to put yourself in this role and think about the big picture things, and what you think would turn Archeage around. This will be a thought experiment, a what if, if you will. With that in mind, my thoughts are now from the point of view of the CEO of XL Games, Jake Song. The only person who could make the changes I am going to propose would be the CEO. To this end, I started pondering what it would be like if I was XL Games lead producer, expanding on that thought I quickly realized that to make the necessary changes to Archeage that would ultimately lead to it being the best game on the market, I needed to be a person of much higher value. It was hard me to focus on a small detail like ship cannons knowing there are much bigger issues and more important things that we as a community can work together on. However, while working on this I found my interest was completely waning.
